Prenatal Visit
A prenatal visit is a chance to prepare for feeding before your baby arrives. We’ll talk through your goals, any concerns or circumstances that may affect breastfeeding, and what to expect in those important first days.
This can be especially helpful if you’ve had feeding challenges with a previous baby, have a history of breast surgery, PCOS or infertility, are expecting multiples, or simply want to feel more prepared from the start. We’ll finish with a personalized plan so you know what to focus on once your baby is here.

Postpartum Visit
Whether feeding is going well and you’d like some reassurance, or you’re working through specific challenges, this visit gives us time to look at the whole picture.
During your home visit, we’ll assess how feeding is going, including latch and positioning, milk transfer, milk supply, and your baby’s oral function and suck when indicated. A weighted feed can help us see how much milk your baby is transferring at the breast.
We’ll talk through what we’re seeing together and finish with a practical, personalized plan that fits your feeding goals and your family.
